Hey! Time for a devlog.

Let’s start with the technical (boring) part.

Another chunk of development is done. We wrapped up some major systems like saving, added some performance optimizations, and worked more on the dating sim mechanics for Fay. Right now the game’s performance is looking solid. I’m aiming to make sure it runs smoothly on as many devices as possible – low-end PCs, budget Android phones, browser, and even Mac.

Even with the complex animations, I’m getting around 800–1000 FPS on my machine. This number might drop a bit once we add lighting and map effects, but if you’ve got one of those fancy high-refresh monitors, you’ll be able to enjoy some very smooth jiggle physics on Fay 😀

Customization for Fay

We’re also planning to add some light customization for Fay. As you progress through the story and build your relationship with her, you’ll unlock new outfits and accessories to dress her up. There might also be some small body customization options like different hairstyles (and other fun stuff). We’ll probably run a few polls to see what kind of options you’d like to see most.

So far, we’ve added a cute casual outfit that Fay can wear when she’s off-duty. More clothing options are coming later — from regular stuff to more exotic choices 😉
Some extra outfits, accessories, and toys will also be added through Patreon polls.

Title screen

We’re already working on the game’s intro screen. Personally, I always pay attention to how a game welcomes me and what kind of first impression it gives. That’s why even for the first pre-release alpha, I wanted us to have a proper title screen ready.

It’ll probably be animated later on, but for now we’re starting with a static (but still pretty) image. We’re putting more time into animating in-game scenes for now.

First testing & alpha

It’s hard to say exactly when the first alpha will be out. Ideally, it should be the very first playable build that gives you a decent experience — with as much content as we can cram in, as few bugs as possible, and released as soon as we can…

That said, I’m a fan of these kinds of games myself, and if I were in your place, I’d definitely be asking the dev to just release it already — bugs and all. So I’ll do exactly that.

Our current goal is to release something that we’re happy with as soon as possible. I won’t guess a date just yet, but in the next update, I’ll give a more confident timeline.

What I can say now is that I’m aiming to drop a test build either this coming week (starting Monday) or the next. I’ll share a more precise update soon.
